Thalassemia is an inherited blood disorder that can lead to anemia. Our NGO is organizing free awareness camps to inform people about this condition. We aim to spread understanding about the symptoms, available screening and testing, and treatment options. At the camp, experienced doctors will give talks explaining thalassemia simply and clearly, followed by a Q&A session. Free blood tests will also be offered to screen for carriers. Knowing your status early enables better family planning and health choices. Awareness helps destigmatize thalassemia in our communities. By learning about prevention and how carriers can have healthy children, we empower society to support those diagnosed. We invite all families in the area to attend.
